Software for the Interactive Writer

Script Formatting
Many writers use major word processing software, such as MS Word or Corel WordPerfect. There are, however,a number of dedicated scriptwriting programs that make the job of script formatting a little bit easier. The programs below were originally designed for linear scriptwriting, but interactive script formats are often based on linear script formats. I would expect their newest revisions would specifically accommodate the interactive writer. Unless otherwise noted all software below is available in MAC & WIN.

Final Draft

Final Draft is a stand alone script processor. (It does not need another word processor to run). It is intuitive and easy to use particularly for motion picture style scripts.
